I was recently shocked to find out how good I feel after I take the time to get up and move. Last night Lisa and I took the dogs for a walk and even though it was just one lap around the neighborhood (both the dogs and I were tired - I think the dogs more so than I). It was quite refreshing and relaxing. So my advice to everyone is to Get UP and MOVE!!! I know that it is not fun sometimes and it is easier to relax with a good book or watch something on the TV, but the benefits and rewards once you do it outweigh not doing it. Start slow, but just get up and move. Tonight I am going back to my Aqua class at the gym (more to come later) and it may kick my behind and I may not be able to do the whole hour, but I'm gonna try and take my own advice to heart and GET UP and MOVE!!!
